never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too.

Oppressive, heavy grindcore that throws in so many different additional elements, including a whole lot of complex time changes and riffs. "Our Hollow" definitely pays off after multiple listens as there is a hell of a lot going on. But as impressive as the music is, the pointed poetic lyrics are the huge takeaway for me. Make sure to give these lines the attention they deserve, which makes the album that much more rewarding. A very impressive statement.
